Winter Services

Over the winter months Thomas Angel Gardens Ltd are available for a variety of tasks, from all the usual services through to a 'labour for hire' service when snow has put paid to all horticultural work.

Thomas Angel Gardens Ltd provide a fast response snow clearance and gritting service in and around Glasgow. Just call – our target response time is one hour!  If you contract us to do this regularly we can arrive unprompted to help ensure your premises are treated.  We can provide and spread white or brown rock salt.  White is generally best for residential premises as this salt is less likely to stain carpets when trodden in from outside.  Commercial sites often choose brown salt which can be more effective though there is not a huge difference.

Don't forget that we can also come out to spread cloches around delicate plants and pots to help protect them from severe frosts, construct compost heaps, dig over beds, supply manure and compost, and a whole host of other jobs.
