This garden has a large pond, raised vegetable beds, several trees and wonderful bed of herbaceous perennials and flowering shrubs. The small tree flowering in the foreground is a witch hazel tree (Hamamellis sp). The front of the property has a large gravel drive surrounding a beautiful old Japanese maple. Thomas Angel Gardens looks after numerous gardens like these, where the customers have invested in a beautiful landscaping project, and wish to maintain it in all its glory.

This roadside verge, which extends far beyond the area in view, is maintained on a monthly basis through the year. The carefully landscaped bed includes numerous different shrubs that require pruning and trimming at different times of the year to keep them at their best. We also ensure that the bark chip mulch is kept at a sufficient level to suppress the weeds and use an organic moss killer on the pavement.

This garden in Milngavie has a large gravel drive bordered by lawns at the front, and a back garden comprised of a large lawn, flowerbeds, an herb garden and numerous trees. The whole property is surrounded by a large and immaculate beech hedge that is cut by us on an annual basis. Ongoing work this year will include renovating part of the hedge and planting new shrubs.

The garden includes a woodland area, rockeries, various hidden corners, masses of flowerbeds, a tarmac driveway, and a system of 8 large compost heaps meaning that every last bit of garden waste is recycled. The garden is a constantly rewarding one and is at it's glorious best with carpets of crocus in the spring, and with myriad colourful blooms in the height of summer.
